How to use:

  • Adding images to conversion list. There are couple of ways you can do this. The easiest way is to simply drag and drop images you would like to convert onto the conversion list. Keep in mind you can drop whole folders and all files in that folder and all sub folders will be resized. You can also use the "+" button in the top-left corner. This will open a dialog box where you can select one or more images to add to the list.
  • Removing images from the conversion list. You can use "-" button or "Del" button on your keyboard to remove all currently highlighted images from the conversion list. Additionally you can use "Clear List" button to remove all images from the list.
  • Keeping aspect ratio. Most of the time you will want this to be checked. With this option on, you will be specifying new size for only one side of the image while the other will be automatically calculated to prevent the image from stretching.
  • Longer and Shorter edge vs X and Y edge. When specifying new size for the image you can do so by using either relative or absolute mode. In relative mode you will set new size for Longer and/or Shorter edge and the program will automatically detect if the image is in landscape or portrait orientation and resize the appropriate sides. In absolute mode you specify new size for X and/or Y edge and the orientation of the image is ignored.
  • Don't enlarge images. When "Do Not Enlarge" option is checked the program will not enlarge images smaller then specified target size. Such images will simply be copied in their original size to the destination folder.
  • Destination. All converted images will be put into the destination folder. Don't worry, this program does not overwrite files. But it is a good idea to choose an empty folder as your destination.
  • Starting the conversion. Due to multi-threaded design, once the conversion process has been started you can go back to the main screen and start another job. All started jobs will run simultaneously.
  • Conversion failure. If some files have failed to convert you can simply put your mouse over the failed file to find out why.
